Recently, bought a pair of gloves from that tiny glove shop as a birthday present to myself on 1st November. It was my eighth visit to my beloved Lisbon and I had wanted to see this shop and, my God, the number of times I must have unknowingly walked right past it ! This trip I was coming out of a bookshop opposite and there it was in front of me.
Also made my first visit to the Chinese Pavilion this time, while I was hugely amused by Pensao D’Amor in Cais de Sodre – in 40 years and more of drinking I think I can honestly, truthfully say that I’ve never drunk in a place like it !
