I would not change the past 15 years of my life, but I had rather lost myself in being wife and mother and had forgotten to feed my soul. This past year I have begun to remember the dreaming girl I was and am glad to know that you believe we still have time.

I grew up in a Canadian city with a very large Portuguese immigrant community, and I loved to visit that part of the city when I was young. This year I rediscovered my love of the country and the song of the language, and have begun to learn to speak it.
