So this would be the time to break it to you all that I am a huge fan of Portuguese born David Fonseca. Reviews will follow of his albums which I thoroughly recommend. David has announced that his new album will be out in October and the first single “Superstars” received its first airing on Sunday 22nd July. The video is directed by David and inspired by a dream he had. It’s slick, dreamlike, arty and characteristic of his work. Everytime I watch it there’s something else I didn’t see before and a new layer of meaning unfolding – just like a dream. If this is the shape of things to come I am certainly looking forward to October!

I can’t watch the video so much, because all those flashing lights bother my head…but the song. Good grief I love this song. I’ve been listening to it for over a month and it still hasn’t gotten old. It’ll be a shame if it doesn’t go to America.

It is a fabulous song isn’t it! I adore everything he’s done. I really need to see him play live at some point.
